Australian corporate travellers and holidaymakers have been praised for trying to learn local languages, being polite and spending up big according to an Expedia survey of 4,500 hoteliers around the world.
Expedia’s second annual global Best Tourist Survey sought hoteliers’ opinions on the demeanor of 27 nationalities of holidaymakers and corporate travellers.
Australia ranked sixth overall while France came in last due to its countrymen’s apparent impolite nature and frugal tipping habits!
Japanese corporate travellers and holidaymakers retained the top spot for being the quietest and most polite travellers as well as being clean and least likely to complain.
