Qantas has introduced its Domestic Mobile Check In service, allowing corporate travellers to check in for business travel flights using an electronic barcode accessible on their mobile phones.
Mobile phones must be web-enabled to use the service. A 2D boarding pass is sent via SMS between 24 hours and 45 minutes before flight departure, with the barcode then scanned at the gate.
Corporate travellers can also seek up-to-the-minute flight information by logging onto qantas.com and clicking on the Domestic Check In option.
