A fresh approach to business travel

Corporate travellers’ credit card signatures refused

Corporate travel agency BCD Travel says more countries particularly in Europe are refusing to allow leisure and business travellers to sign for expenses charged to their credit cards. Instead, a pin number is required.

In Australia, corporate travellers still have the option of signing for credit card charges although pin numbers are now available through all financial institutions.

BCD Travel Sales Director, Stephen Finlay, says business travellers should consider obtaining a pin number for their credit cards particularly if they plan to undertake overseas corporate travel for meetings incentives conferences exhibitions.
