In an effort to fill capacity on flights and boost sales, airline carriers are increasingly offering bargain prices, two-for-one deals and seating upgrades for business travel and leisure travel.
Travel management company (TMC), BCD Travel, says consumers should shop around for flights and take advantage of bargain prices for impending corporate travel and holiday travel.
BCD Travel, which offers a leisure travel service to its corporate travel clients, says leisure travel is increasingly being perceived as an unnecessary luxury in today’s economy. However, bargain prices combined with falling surcharges due to the lower global oil price and sharply declining interest rates is making leisure travel more affordable.
