Corporate travel agency, BCD Travel, is encouraging its corporate travel clients to begin their individual negotiations with their preferred hotels now prior to the hotel industry’s traditional end of year price review and expected 4-8 per cent increase in room rates.
BCD Travel is currently reviewing its own negotiated rates in its Global Hotel Program, which offers specially negotiated rates to BCD Travel’s corporate travel clients that are much lower than hotel rack rates and standard corporate rates. However, some clients have their own deals in place with their preferred hotels, and new negotiations for 2009 should take place as soon as possible to lock in the best deals.
BCD Travel’s corporate travel clients can log in to the Global Hotel Program through their online booking tools.
