Sydney is the world’s friendliest city according to a global online survey of 50 major cities.
Sydney is one of the most popular destinations in Australia for business travel, with major meetings incentives conferences exhibitions held there every year and thousands of business travellers flying into the harbour city every day.
The survey, titled the Anholt-GfK Roper City Brands Index, analysed feedback from 10,000 adults including business travellers from 20 major developed and developing countries.
Sydney was praised by survey respondents for its friendly people, cultural diversity, cleanliness, scenery, moderate climate and affordable accommodation.
Among the top five cities overall, Sydney ranked second behind Paris but ahead of London, Rome and New York.
