The Australian Government has granted Etihad Airways seven extra weekly flights from Abu Dhabi to any Australian gateway including Etihad’s current destinations of Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. The Government says Etihad can have seven more if they fly via or onto a regional airport.
BCD Travel has an excellent relationship with Etihad, which is one of the corporate travel agency’s recommended suppliers for business travel. Etihad currently flies from Abu-Dhabi to Sydney 11 times per week, Melbourne 7 times and Brisbane 3 times.
The extra flights will be available to business travellers from March next year.
Etihad began flying to Australia in 2007 and has been well-received by corporate travellers, according to corporate travel management company, BCD Travel.
