VELOCITY Members flying on any of Skywest Airlines (XR) fifteen domestic destinations will receive Velocity Points from 01Nov 07 after the airline announced yesterday that it was joining the loyalty program.
Skywest ceo Paul Daff said that the union with Velocity Rewards, partnered by Virgin Blue, wouldgreatly benefit its passengers and considered this to âbe the best news for Western Australian travellers and will further encourage local tourismâ?.
DJs Brett Godfrey commented on the merger saying âSkywest is a high-quality, service-oriented airlineâ? like Virgin Blue. âWe are very pleased to be able to offer Velocity members even more opportunities to earn Pointsâ?, said Godrey. XR is offering double Velocity Points for flights taken between 01 Dec 07 and 31 Jan 08.
