Inbound Duty Free Rules Relaxed

DUTY Free shopping outlets at Australian airports will be hailing a move announced by tourism minister Fran Bailey this morning which expands the range of goods which can be purchased by incoming passengers.

Previously customs regulations restricted inbound travellers to purchasing alcohol, cigarettes, film and perfume. However under the new rules any items up to the value of $900 duty

Premium Economy for Virgin Blue (DJ)

VIRGIN Blue has announced the addition of a premium economy product to its domestic offerings. At the carrier’s annual general meeting this morning ceo Brett Godfrey said premium economy would be priced between 10% and 25% less than Qantas fully flexible fares, with two-abreast seating and a 34-inch seat pitch.
