About 70% of corporate travellers worldwide are now carrying internet-enabled mobile devices, according to BCD Travel’s newly-released 2010 Global Industry Forecast Paper.
This has created a new demand for real-time online information, such as weather conditions at business travellers’ destinations and information on business travel flight delays and so forth.
BCD Travel is currently collaborating with a major corporate travel industry supplier to enable its business travel clients to receive this information on their handsets.
